Logos for Startup Companies
The Pros and Cons of Logos for Startup Companies
There are two kinds of logo design: simple and iconic. A simple company logo is just an outline of the company logo. It does not have any color or symbol. It is usually plain, unlike the iconic ones which come with color and symbol.
A very famous method in creating logos is to edit them using Adobe Photoshop.
There are a lot of software programs that allow the users to edit the logo design directly from the software. There are a number of websites that offer a wide variety of logo packages, including the popular Adobe Illustrator program. The advantage of this is that you can preview your logo before spending a huge amount of money for it. You can even save your logo as a PSD in different formats and use it for other purposes.
The downside of this method is that the logo may not be representative of the company. Many small businesses mistakenly use PSDs with stock photos and stock images. This is bad practice because the logo must have a special purpose and it should be unique to the business. You cannot use stock photos for any other purpose. The fonts used for small businesses also have to be specifically designed for the small print, especially on the envelopes and small business cards.
There are still a lot of ways to create logos for startups. There are a lot of websites that offer you free logo templates. You can also purchase logo packages. All these methods are helpful for small businesses that are planning to have their own logo for startup.
